- Directions: Take Harbor Freeway, Interstate 110 South from downtown Los Angeles or Interstate 405 south from West LA to Interstate 110. Continue to the end of the freeway where you will merge onto Gaffey Street. Continue south for 2 miles and turn right onto 25th Street. Continue on for 5 ½ miles where 25th Street turns into Palos Verdes Drive South. Park in the Abalone Cove Parking Lot and walk back east for ½ mile to the Wayfarers Chapel. There will be a street sign for Peppertree Drive and you will find several paths down to the beach. Once you are on the beach turn right and continue along the beach about 5-10 minutes to get to the cove with all the gay men.
